How To Use a Brass Knuckle Knife? 5 Cool Tricks!

A brass knuckle knife is a type of weapon used in hand-to-hand combat and has traditionally been associated with street gangs. They are usually made up of small metal or plastic plates that are fitted together so that the user can hold them in their fist and activate them by pressing the fleshy parts of their palm against the knuckles, increasing the force behind their punch.

Brass knuckles have also been known to be used as an improvised firearm. These knuckle knives come in many shapes and sizes. Some have holes for fingers, while others may be molded to more securely fit one's fist. They usually have hard metal spikes on the knuckles for punching power. They are also usually designed to protect the hand from injury. In the United States, these knives are illegal in most states.

However, they are not federally prohibited from ownership, so it is up to state laws whether they can be owned or carried across state lines. Some states allow possession of knuckle knives that do not have spikes on the knuckles, and some will even allow them to be carried with a concealed weapons permit. In other states, however, possessing any knuckle knife is a crime punishable by fines and imprisonment. As with all weapons laws, the law can vary widely depending on state and local laws.

Cool Tricks to Use a Knuckle Knife:

The Brass Knuckle Knife is a practical self-defense tool. Perfect for robberies where the perpetrator has made you hostile, it's also just great for being safe on average days where one should always anticipate the possibility of danger. Here, we will cover 5 tricks with how to use a brass knuckle knife, so that you can protect yourself during your everyday life and any unforeseen situations that may arise.

1) Know Your Enemies:

Knowing your enemy will make it easy for you to protect yourself. This way you can simply position yourself so that you have minimal exposure to the gun or knife in question. The easiest way to tell whether someone is after your money or your life is by getting a glimpse of his face.

For example, if a person comes at you with a gun and they've got a shaved head, that's probably their intention - not just saying hello!  Another rule is: A person doesn't show a weapon unless they are ready for a fight (unless of course they're really disturbed).

2) Weapons in Hand:

If possible, carrying weapons on your person is always a good practice, even if you're discreet about the weapons themselves. In some areas, carrying a weapon openly can make you look like a 'tough guy', so try and avoid these areas if you're worried about this. If this is impossible, getting a hidden holstered gun is the best way to go about concealing your own protection.

If you'd rather not have a gun on your person, then remember that anything can be used as a weapon in the extreme case that it's needed. A simple pen or even something as flimsy as keys can serve more than one purpose: They can be used to defend yourself against an attack.

3) Size Matters:

The size of your brass knuckle knife doesn't matter other than a matter of convenience. However, your weapon needs to be long enough to penetrate most clothing and still be able to be used. If it's too short it will just look silly as no one will ever shoot an ill-sized weapon at someone and that can possibly be used as a distraction or just something to make you seem less threatening to potential attackers.

4) Timing is Everything:

This one is simple: You have the advantage if, in the process of being attacked, you are able to act quickly and attack back with equal force. For example, It's five against one and you decide to fight back, suddenly it's only four against one. Turning the odds in your favor can make all the difference so don't hesitate to fight back if given the opportunity.

5) Have Backup:

Always have a 'plan B' if you're caught in the act of being attacked and you don't see any way of escaping but have to. Try and pickpocket any weapon on them (if possible) or look for their weak spot like their eyes (as most people instinctively shut their eyes when in pain).

Use a Knuckle Knife with Safety!

A Brass Knuckle Knife is an item that, when correctly used, can be extremely effective at causing damage. The damage inflicted by such an instrument can range in severity from minor scrapes and bruises to skull fractures and loss of life.

Unlike other edged weapons, the Knuckle Knife does not have a sharp point or cutting edge but rather has a rough surface that tears flesh open with any contact made by one end of the weapon on another surface. Here are some safety measures to follow, for safer use of these knives:

1. Use only on a surface you are willing to destroy.

2. Keep your fingers and thumb away from the sharp edges of the knife

3. Do not grip the blade, only the hilt or handle part of the knife

4. Do not use this weapon on anyone or anything that cannot be damaged with it

5. Any cutting motion is best done towards yourself and not away from yourself, unless you want to be a mess of blood and guts on the floor that no amount of cleaning can get rid of

6. Make sure your skin is covered by clothing before operating one of these knives.
